I should win the Free Actor’s Jumpstart Headshot session because that is what I need, a jumpstart to my acting career. I’ve been told time and time again that to get anywhere, you have to have a great headshot. The first impression is key; and in too many cases, it’s the only chance you may get. So help me make my first impression a lasting one, one of strength and beauty. I’m working hard to get anywhere in the acting world and it’s not easy, especially when my mom–my biggest support– was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She is probably the strongest, most beautiful person I know. Even when all her femininity was stripped from her–she had her breasts removed, her hair fell out, and her friends and family saw her sick all the time–my mom kept a smile on her face.

This is what I want to portray in my headshot–the strength, beauty, and willpower that my mother has shown me. I want to one day be in a role where I can help someone empower themselves to keep going, to keep pushing on through their hardships. Help me do that by jumpstarting my chances with a beautiful headshot.
