I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of actors, many who were just beginning their careers. And headshots get the audition process going—making a huge difference in getting in the room, and booking the job. So when I help an actor increase their auditions, or get higher quality/better-fitting auditions, it makes me incredibly happy.

Every Actor Is Unique
Anyone can set up a camera, set it to “auto”, figure out some good light, and snap a photo. Because that sounds easy, a lot of photographers do just that. And it might create decent images, but it doesn’t create great headshots.
I want to be better than any old photographer. I want to be one of the best headshot photographers NYC has ever seen. Although New York City has a lot of people offering to take photos of actors, not everyone has put in much time and effort. They haven’t learned the industry, the ins-and-outs of casting, and aren’t in the same shoes as an actor trying to book a gig. Because I’ve put in the work, I connect with the actors I photograph on a different level.

My experience with Nick was great! He was very professional and had a great way of helping me relax and just feel at ease during the session.
